The men on the Heights
In
spite of the Mystery of the Heights`s scene, the Holy koran mentioned only a part of
those men`s
function, that is announcing to Believers the divine order to Enter
the Paradise.
“Between
them shall be a veil on the Heights will be men who would know every one by his
marks: they will call out to the Companions of the Garden, Peace on you: they
will not have entered, but they will have an assurance (thereof).
When
their eyes shall be turned towards the Companions of the Fire, they will say:
Our Lord send us not to the company of the wrong doers.
will
call to certain men whom they will know from their marks, saying: of what profit
to you were your hoards and your arrogant ways?
Behold
are these not the men whom you swore that ALLAH with His Mercy would never
bless? Enter ye the Garden: no fear shall be on you nor shall ye grieve.
The
Companions of the Fire will call to the Companions of the Garden: "Pour
down to us water or anything that ALLAH doth provide for your sustenance. They
will say: both these things hath ALLAH forbidden to those who rejected Him”
Alaraaf
46-50
The only
definition of “The men on the Heights”, is that they would know everyone by his
marks,
(clear faces, and obscured faces) not by their place, (the Paradise or the
fire), which indicates that the end didn`t take place yet.
Noting that
believers didn`t enter to the Paradise yet , however they wish it, in spite of
their clear faces:
"They
did not enter there although they wish it"
This
means that the scene didn`t finished yet,
They were
stopped before entering the paradise to be rewarded beside
their enemy, (which condemned them so much) to return to believing their
prestige, and to make indignant the non-believers:
“Behold
are these not the men whom you swore that ALLAH with His Mercy would never
bless? Enter ye the Garden: no fear shall be on you nor shall ye grieve.”
The
talking of “The men on the Heights”, is enough to know who are they,
The men on
the Heights said to Companions of
the Paradise:
"Peace
on you"
The men on
the Heights said to Companions Of
Fire:
“of
what profit to you were your hoards and your arrogant ways?
Behold
are these not the men whom you swore that ALLAH with His Mercy would never
bless?”
Who says to
Companions of the Paradise: "Peace
on you"?
Paradise
Keepers:
"
And
those who feared their Lord will be led to the Garden in crowds: until behold,
they arrive there; its gates will be opened; and its Keepers will say:
"Peace be upon you. well have (ye done enter) ye here, to dwell therein.
".AlZumar 73
The angels
who take the lives
“(Namely)
those whose lives the angels take in a state of purity, saying (to them), Peace
be on you; enter ye the Garden, because of (the good) which ye did (in the
world). ".AlNahl 32
Angels
“Peace
unto you for that ye persevered in patience Now how excellent is the final
Home!" AlRaad 23-24
who
blame The Companions of the Fire?
Hell
Keepers
“The
Unbelievers will be led to Hell in crowd: until, when they arrive there, its
gates will be opened. And its Keepers will say, did not messengers come to you
from among yourselves, rehearsing to you the Signs of your Lord, and warning you
of the Meeting of this Day of yours? The answer will be: True: but the Decree of
Punishment has been proved true against the Unbelievers.” Al Zumar 71
“Almost
bursting with fury: every time a Group is cast therein, its Keepers will ask,
Did no Warner come to you?” Al Mulk 8
In
spite of they don`t have any sign
indicating the
exit from fire in the verses.
And
although the scene starts by declaring that there is a veil between the two
groups, which denies any passage through this veil.
The
scene ends by:
"
no fear shall be on you nor shall ye grieve "
what ensures
that Companions of the Paradise
would never sulphur the hell before.
A significant
question arises:
If
The men on the Heights is the alleged group which leaves the hell to the
paradise, when did they congratulate Companions of Paradise, and accuse
those of the hell? Did they do it while suffering the hell? Or
after their exit?
“Companions
of Fire will shout to Companions of
the Paradise: "Pour down to us water or anything that ALLAH doth provide
for your sustenance."They will answer: both these things hath ALLAH
forbidden to those who rejected Him ".
The scene
ends by posing a definition of the unbelief,
which
cancels the idea of the group having the equal balance (the third group which
passes from hell to Paradise).
The Verse
indicates that the non believers have
a religion but they take it as amusement and play.
"both
these things hath ALLAH forbidden to those who rejected Him ".
Such
as took their religion to be mere amusement and play, and were deceived by the
life of the world". That day shall We forget them as they forgot the
meeting of this day of theirs, and as they were wont to reject Our Signs. "
El-Acraf 50-51
They didn`t
denied the judgement day, they only forgot it witch is sufficient to
be forgotten this day. What means that belonging
to a correct religion (Islam), never ensure
the gain of the Paradise without true work and correct
belief.
So the
unbelief could have an Islamic face.
The Verse
contradicte with the dominant conception asserting
that it is enough to believe in God to
be off the
torment of
hell, even by making obscenes.
